Does sports massage hurt?

It can feel intense, especially if we’re working on deep knots, but it should never be painful. We’ll always check in and adjust the pressure to keep you comfortable.

Yes, cupping can leave temporary marks—it just means your circulation is improving! They usually fade in a few days and don’t hurt.

Something comfortable. We will ask you to remove your clothing down to your underwear and you will be under a towel to maintain your privacy. 

Yes! A massage is a great way to treat someone to a little self-care.

Following a sports massage it is recommended to take it easy for about 24 hours before any heavy workouts. 

If for whatever reason you need to cancel your appointment, we just ask for 24 hours notice.

Yes, please let us know if you have any health conditions, eg. high blood pressure, skin conditions as we may need to adjust the massage accordingly or get a thumbs-up from your doctor first 

Prior to your appointment I will send you brief questionnaire where any health conditions can be noted.

We use massage oils that are suitable for sensitive skin and allergy-friendly

No problem. Just let us know beforehand, and we’ll use allergy-friendly products.

Sessions are available in 30, 45 and 60 minute slots.

Massage can be a great tool for recovery, but it depends on the injury. Let us know, and we’ll find a treatment that supports your healing journey.

This varies for everyone, for general wellness, a massage every few weeks is a great habit. If you’re dealing with muscle tension or recovery, we’ll chat about a plan that works for you.
